Atul Auto has signed an agreement with Greaves Cotton to develop a new generation of fuel agnostic powertrain solutions that meet BSVI emission norms. The powertrain solutions will be propelled by diesel, petrol, CNG and electricity. To help Atul Auto to provide value driven solutions at the lower end of the market, according to Jayantbhai Chandra, Chairman and Managing Director of Atul Auto, the association between the two companies would provide Greaves Cotton an opportunity to deploy the future ready solutions, the technology for which it is investing in. Said Nagesh Basavanhalli, MD and CEO, Greaves Cotton Limited, “Greaves is investing in new technologies and building capabilities to meet the demand for fuel agnostic, future ready solutions to serve the last mile transportation market. These solutions will cover a range of fuels from diesel, petrol, CNG to electric.”
